With some of the other music I've posted on here, it may be a surprise that I actually do enjoy Taylor Swift's music. I wouldn't call myself a big Swiftie or anything, but there are quite a few songs I really enjoy. It felt right to have something written up about her, since this Friday I will be seeing her in concert, and it feels like it might be one of the biggest shows I've ever gone to. I know everyone has different opinions about what songs, albums, etc are the best of hers, which is totally fair. So be nice please.
So, without further ado, here is my list of some of my favorite Taylor Swift songs.
You Belong With Me (2006)
Honestly, lets just discuss how this song is still one of the most fun songs to sing in a car, at the loudest volume you can. Even in 2006 I enjoyed this song, and now I will still jam as hard as I possibly can to it. No shame.
Haunted (2010)
One, I love violins and string instruments in songs, it is one of my favorite additions to most songs. Second, this is definitely the 'emo kid' song of Taylor's discography, and I will fight that it is one of her better songs forever.
Red (2012)
This album overall is my favorite of hers and probably my most listened to one she has made. I really enjoy this song, and the next one of the list, probably my most listened song of hers.
All Too Well (2021 10 minute version)
This song was art to begin with, the 10 minute version is even better. I adore this song.
Paper Rings (2021)
Honestly, I just think this song is really fun, a lot of the songs on Lover were. Just a kind of pop-like jam I find really catchy.
Vigilante Shit (2022)
Honestly, this song just really makes me want to write the most badass female characters of all time. Its definitely a 'go to war' song and I'm into it. Its just a great song.
So overall, I definitely have favorite CDs. I haven't listened to Evermore or Folklore much, which is why they are noticeably missing from this list.
Do you have favorite Taylor Swift songs? Have you seen her in concert? What did you think?
